RAM Motorsport Chasing More Podiums At The Mountain

RAM Motorsport’s Porsche Carrera Cup Australia entries return to Mount Panorama this weekend, and the team is looking to score more podiums after a strong showing at Sandown.

Racing on the undercard of the biggest motorsport events of the year, the Repco Bathurst 1000, RAM Motorsport drivers Dylan O’Keeffe and Dean Cook are looking to put in another strong showing in their Dexion-backed Porsches and add to the trophy collection.

Consistent results in the last few rounds have seen O’Keeffe move up to third in the Pro Class standings with three rounds (including this weekend at Bathurst) remaining.

“We’ve kept improving as the year has progressed, and each round, we’ve made up a spot or two in the championship; hopefully, we can continue that trend and make it to first place by the end of the year,” said O’Keeffe.

In Pro-Am Class, Cook is coming off the back of his best and most consistent round of the year and is looking to build on that performance this weekend.

Once again, O’Keeffe will be doing double duty this weekend, joining Matt Stone Racing and Nick Percat in the Bathurst 1000.

“Sandown was a frantic weekend with lots of back-to-back sessions swapping between cars, but Bathurst is a lot more spread out being a four-day weekend.

“I think racing the Porsche will be a help more than a hindrance because it will give me some extra seat time to ensure I’m fully dialled into the Mountain.”

This weekend’s Porsche Carrera Cup action will be shown live on Fox Sports and Kayo as well as on the Seven Network and 7plus.
