ABOUT
Established in 2018 by three mates who wanted to go racing (Ryan, Alex & Mike) RAM Motorsport has quickly grown from a passionate hobby to a competitive racing outfit at both state and national levels.
2019 saw the first full year of competition in the Mercedes-AMG A45 and a steep learning curve for all three drivers who had never raced door-to-door previously.
In 2020 the team expanded to a three car line-up adding a Porsche 991.1 GT3 Cup car and Radical SR3 to the ranks. It was a breakout year that saw the team’s first race and round wins as well as a state championship.
The momentum has continued to build throughout 2021 as the team managed its biggest achievement to date, a Class A1 victory in the Bathurst 6 hour for the Mercedes-AMG A45 as well as putting in strong showings in all races entered rarely finishing outside the top 10. Although 2021 isn’t over yet we already have one eye on 2022 which is set to be our biggest year to date as we prepare to enter three new cars in premier national categories.
