OG RAM Motorsport Drivers to tackle Bathurst 6 Hour with Special Tour de Cure Livery

RAM Motorsport will tackle the iconic event will see with the three original drivers, Ryan Godfrey, Alex Bryden, and Mike Sheargold, racing together for the first time as co-drivers. The entry will be run by GWR Australia, the team's long-term partner and the car, a Mercedes A45 AMG, will feature a unique livery in support of the cancer charity Tour de Cure.

This special design is particularly meaningful as Mike Sheargold was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in 2023. In June this year, Michael and Alex will be taking on Tour de Cure’s iconic Signature Tour ride, covering an impressive 1,184 kilometres over 8-days on road bikes.

Mike Sheargold expressed his excitement, stating, "We are really excited to feature Tour de Cure on the car this year given my history. My recovery is going really well, and what better way to emphasize that than ride over 1,100 kilometres on a push bike!"

Alex Bryden added, "I'm pumped to be getting the OG band back together. It all started with this same car 6 years ago now, so to be able to all drive in the same race together as co-drivers is going to be a special experience."

The team has had previous success with the Mercedes A45 AMG, winning the A1 class twice and finishing second in their three prior race entries.
